RIPCORD kind of made up the English Hardcore Scene between 1984 and 1988 along with bands like HERESY, THE STUPIDS and EXTREME NOISE TERROR, they were among the best that England had to offer at that time when the technicolor poseurs from kings road had slowly ceased to exist. Their greatest recording event was the John Peel Session for his radio show on BBC.
